The Sydney Monopoly Pub run 2011 takes into account 26 pubs throughout Sydney.
The Route
The route encompasses 26 streets and stations. This attempts to replicate the Monopoly board, leaving out the Electric Company, Water Works etc. The route encompasses pubs from a varied cross section, and unlike in London where it is necessary to use public transport it is possible to walk the entire route in a reasonably quick time (12 hours or so including drinks and food).
Last year the run took 10 hours and was started with 25 and finished with 31, peaking at 50+ through the mid section, which made for a good crowd.
